Landa has an extensive financial background and expertise in highly complex accounting and advanced investigative auditing issues. He commenced his career in 1967, when he joined Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG Peat Marwick). In 1976, being a Senior Manager, decided to establish his own firm. He has done extensive work for some of the principal law offices in Puerto Rico, as a qualified expert witness in numerous cases of business valuation, fraud, damage computations under Law 75 (Puerto Rico's Dealers Act), business interruption and other issues. The Court has also appointed him as Commissioner.

He has held various positions in the Puerto Rico CPA Association, including membership in the Board of Directors and has served in the following committees: Professional Development Committee (Chairman), Ethic, Professional Orientation, Bankers and Lawyers Relations, Principles and Auditing Standards Board.

 

Landa has been invited as guest speaker by the University of Puerto Rico, Catholic University, Institute of Internal Auditors, Puerto Rico Association of Certified Public Accountants, Chamber of Commerce, Asociación Interamericana de Hombres de Empresa, Asociación de Educación Privada, The Federal Bar Association (PR Chapter) and other professional associations.
